Not that long ago over a few red wines at  a  friend’s place, Kris and Jane let the inner Rascal run free. A group of friends had come around for a crafting night- who  was to know that Red Rascal was to be born that night.

Fast forward 6 months and the girls are supplying fashion and children’s stores Australia wide with their funky, designer t-shirts and accessories – lovingly crafted in Australia by the two young mums (6 kids between them).

Jane is now travelling around Australia in a campervan with Ollie (4) and 3-year old twins Henry and Eloise, urging husband Toby to the nearest powered campsite so she can fire up her Janome machine to fill the latest orders. Meanwhile Kris and kids Ruby, Bella and Eliza are holding the fort back in Melbourne with husband Ciz providing the back end web and admin support.

The Rascals are big believers in fair, connected and low impact grassroots trade and supporting other Australian small businesses with an interest in genuine hand made products.
